@derinthescarletpescatarian a garden kneeler, maybe. At their most basic they’re just a chunk of fairly dense foam, but there are also ones with handles to help you get up and the double as a regular seat

I am always blown away by this. Like. This little girl was alive and laughing and wearing her little hat and in the sunshine over 100 years ago. And her cat was eating little treats from her hands and having a fun little time over 100 years ago. Like. Their existence in history is recorded as so much more than the moody and serious black and white Victorian family portraits. AND WE GET TO SEE IT AND FEEL AS HAPPY AS THEY WERE! I have so many feelings!

i owe them $360 - $140 is past due and the rest is due on both the 11th and 20th respectively. the past due payment is especially urgent as i am now 17 days late on that payment and my things have been scheduled for auction
i just barely paid rent this month - the full amount was 6 days late. i owe afterpay $54 TODAY because i needed to buy groceries a few weeks ago and they’re not dropping the order i cancelled from what i owe - i have to pay this today because if it’s late they will revoke my afterpay privileges. this would be a huge issue because i often use it to cover walmart grocery orders and doordash giftcards when i am completely broke and still need to eat
my mom loves to lie and like she always swears she was NEVER homophobic or anything to me as a child “i even have a gay work friend” but a really funny memory resurfaced recently where i asked if i could use birthday money i had to buy a rainbow flag when i was like ??? 7?? because i LOVED rainbows. and she said no that means something Evil and god will hate you . so what did i do. but ask my grandmom for a rainbow sweater for christmas and proceed to only wear that sweater for three years when it got cold because i didnt like the idea that god hated colors and i wanted to challenge him

I went to see Parasite completely blind besides being aware (unavoidably) that there was a hard tonal shift at some point. I saw the poster and stuff, but that was it
the entire time I was bracing myself for it to shift into some sort of alien parasite psychological horror movie, which seems really presumptuous, except I saw Bong Joon-ho’s The Host and that movie actually did have a giant monster in it, so I wasn’t putting it past him
god the class dynamics in this movie are so stressful already… keeping up this double life while still taking care of your family…… and if that’s not bad enough, they’re gonna have to deal with The Parasite when it shows up
